Gov. Tim Walz, the Democratic nominee for vice president, visited this year’s State Fair on Sunday, Sept. 1, for about a half-hour. Walz ate a pork chop on a stick, served soft serve ice cream and looked at butter carvings with Princess Kay of the Milky Way. The governor is on the campaign trail as he stumps for himself and his running mate, Vice President Kamala Harris.
